#1: No Banging on the Glass 🚫🪟
Never hit or tap on the glass enclosures. Animals are highly sensitive to vibrations; what sounds like a light tap to you feels like a loud drum to them and can cause immense stress.
#2: Strictly No Outside Feeding 🚫🍏
Never throw your own food (crackers, bread, fruit) into an exhibit. Zoo animals have highly specialised diets, and human food can make them severely ill.
#3: Use "Library Voices" 🤫
Animals have acute hearing. Shouting, screaming, or loud noises can frighten them away or cause them to hide. Keep your volume low to see them at their most natural.
#4: Respect the Barriers 🚧
Always stay behind the fences, ropes, and glass. These are there for your safety and to give the animals the "personal space" they need to feel secure.
